Update: I stuck to my routine for about a month and a half until I went on vacation in August then it all went downhill. I ate whatever I wanted and didn't exercise until this past Monday August 30th, I got back into the groove.
I am not that mad at myself because even though I took a break for a few weeks, I still really have the motivation to get back into it. I created a workout schedule for myself and I have started watching what I eat again. A lot of fruits and vegetables, no daytime snacks and only drinking water. My workout schedules is as follows:
Monday, Wed, Fri: Abs, Arms and Squats (3 sets of 20 reps each)/ 30 minutes on the tredmill.
Tues, Thurs, Sat: 60 minutes on the tredmill
Sun: Rest day!
I'm still keeping track of my daily workouts on my dry erase calendar so I can visually see my progress. My ultimate goal is to loose 20 lbs. So like before, I will weigh myself once a week and jot down that part of my progress on my calendar as well. I really want this so I am not going to let myself slack this time. I know it will take some time to see the results that I am looking for so I am not going to get discouraged! I am just going to keep telling myself that I am going to be so happy when I get where I want to be!
The 60 minutes on the tredmill kicks my butt, but it feels really good to push myself, and I actually feel like my efforts are worth it!
